This Is Lebanon is always delighted to find that a non-paying employer has moved to the West. Such was the case with Jessalyn Besa, a 33-year-old Filipino, who was owed $1600 (4 months’ salary) by her employer. She had worked in his hair salon and spa in Lebanon and then he moved to Australia without paying her. We informed her employer that we would notify the Australian authorities, something we have done in previous cases. He eventually paid her the full amount. Jessalyn had not expected to ever receive her salary and was delighted!
